Owner and lead stylist of Professional Beauty Bar, Janel has spent more than 35 years behind the chair – starting at age 15 in New Jersey and training for nearly a decade with one of the industry's most respected chemists. Her work is grounded in the science of hair: pH balance, scalp health, corrective color and long-term hair preservation. She is a curly hair specialist, was one of the first stylists in Sarasota to bring in luxury head spa services and hand-tied extensions, and she personally trains the team on every texture that walks through the door.
